Moorfields Eye Charity: Making a difference to the lives of people living with sight loss

Signal Festival opened with a warm welcome by host Gabriella Ferenczi who shared the backstory of Language Professionals’ Networking Event, how it all started 3 years ago, and where we are now.
She also explained why Language Professional’s Networking is a non-profit initiative, and she shared a personal story on why it was Moorfields Eye Charity that we chose to support and raise money for through our monthly events as well as through Signal.
She revealed that over the past 3 years, we have raised £1177 for Moorfields Eye Charity.
Two representatives of Moorfields, Joanne Greene and Natasha Wright joined us to explain more about the charity’s wonderful work and how they use the funds they receive from people and organisations like us.
