The April 26th event was a free-to-attend Easter social gathering in the private room of a lively wine bar, a hidden little gem in Moorgate.
This time, we had translators, multi-lingual conference and legal interpreters, business language and communication trainers and teachers, a coach, a Cambridge examiner and a character comedy writer and performer attending.
We enjoyed each others’ company over a few glasses of booze, and were chatting on all things work in today’s market place, international business, education, marketing, services and pricing, and just generally, on the joy and our struggles and challenges working as a language professional.
We also raised money for Moorfields Eye Charity, to help them continue their pioneering research work, making a difference for patients at Moorfields Eye Hospital and for people with sight problems around the world.
Thank you very much to everyone who attended, see you next month.
