Our July 2022 Event: Summer Social round 2

The July event was published just a week before the actual date, and therefore, it ended up to be an intimate event where we chatted for hours on end on all things life, work, productivity, languages, travel, covid, war and peace, inclusivity and discrimination, freedom and restrictions, balance and overwhelm, health and wellbeing.
We met in the Martini Bar because the Lakeside Picnic Garden got crazy busy with freshly graduated students who celebrated with their families a very important milestone in their lives.
So, instead of waiting for the crowd to slowly disperse, we just headed up to the bar where we secured a quiet spot that overlooked the Lakeside. We had peace and quiet, sunshine and lovely views – plus the cocktails. All boxes ticked.
This time, we had language teachers, translators and a multilingual travel writer joining us. It was simply fab. So much so that we completely forgot to take photos.
Favourite cocktail of the day: Tommy’s Margarita 🍸 .

We haven’t forgotten about our friends who can’t attend a face-to-face event in London. In August, we’ll be doing a community contribution challenge aka link-building style networking. And end of September, we’ll be back with a proper online event on Zoom.
Save the date for the September event:
Friday 30th September 6.30pm UK time, 7.30pm CET, 2.30pm EST, 10am PST
Location: Zoom
Until then, take care of yourself, take care of others.
Keep in touch and hopefully, see you next time, whenever the time is right again.
